USER GUIDE

Your everyday business phone, explained.

A quick-start guide for answering, transferring and managing calls. Your exact buttons, access and dial codes depend on your model and configuration.

GUIDE 1

Transfer a call

  1. Press Transfer during the call. The current caller is normally placed on hold.
  2. Dial the destination extension or external number.
  3. For an attended transfer, wait and introduce the caller. For a blind transfer, use the direct transfer option.
  4. Complete the transfer using the phone’s on-screen control. If the destination is unavailable, return to the original call.
GUIDE 2

Check voicemail

  1. Look for a message light or an envelope on the display.
  2. Press Message or open your voicemail menu.
  3. Follow the prompts to listen, save, delete, or record a greeting. Use the PIN assigned to your extension.
GUIDE 3

Start a conference

  1. While on an active call, select Conference. The first caller is held.
  2. Dial the second participant and wait for them to answer.
  3. Select Conference again to join the calls. If your phone supports Split, you can separate the calls again.
GUIDE 4

Forward your calls

  1. Decide whether calls should forward always, when busy, or when unanswered.
  2. Use the forwarding settings available on your configured phone or ask us to set up account-level routing.
  3. Test from an outside line and switch forwarding off when it’s no longer needed.
GUIDE 5

Hold and resume a call

  1. Press Hold while on a call and confirm the line shows as held.
  2. Select the held call or press Resume to continue.
  3. For team pickup or call parking, ask your administrator which controls are configured.
GUIDE 6

Check a phone connection

  1. Confirm the phone has power and a network connection.
  2. Check whether other phones or devices are affected.
  3. Note any error and send the model and issue to support. Avoid a factory reset unless instructed.
